We choose a range of long-lasting materials to last and enhance learning and sensory experiences through interaction with the natural environment.

Our gardens provide educational, environmental, and aesthetic value to children and the community.

Yarning circles have been used by Indigenous people for thousands of years to discuss issues and ideas in a collaborative and inclusive manner.

They direct a circular discussion on a topic and allow for knowledge to be shared in a respectful and inclusive way.

We utilise natural design elements such as large logs and boulders as informal seating to encourage respectful and reciprocal communication and conversation.

These areas are used to engage with students, Traditional Owners, and community members to promote cultural awareness and education by incorporating fire pits, totems, Bush Tucker and Indigenous plants to enhance and inform learning.
